Vacation at Long Beach Island, New Jersey

Johnny Cash Night at Long Beach!

Sue and Joe are fans!

As fans of Johnny Cash, the men wore Cash shirts while watching a PBS Cash special.

Jason and Tim Cash Fans!

Jackie, Jeri are fans. Margie wonders who is Johnny Cash. Finally she realizes that Johnny Cash is "Walk the Line"

Charlie and Susie love Johnny!

The Jersey shore is the best! If you love the ocean and have not spent time at the Jersey shore, be sure to go one time!

My children rented a house in Beach Haven Gardens on 31st Street and they were nice to invite the old folks along. It was lovely and plenty of room for everyone. The beaches are soft and the water was so clean. Long Beach Island has lots of restaurants and activities for the whole family.
The famous Barnagate Light House is on the northern tip of the island. The current one was build under the direction of U. S. General George Meade in 1858. It was a beacon for ships until the late 1930's.
The southern tip of the island is a bird and turtle sanctuary and off limits from April to October.
